Demo's out
MP only. But... you know - that's all we really care about, right?

edit: initial impressions of MP.... awkward, confusing, clunky and unintuitive. Not the same as the old mp from avp2.

heard it was bad, will just wait for single player and coop like i originally planned to.

all I can say for sure is - mp deathmatch ... is not good.

UM... The other modes sound more interesting. But - Right now more of a Single Player game. The mechanics they made for the game just work better in SP and don't integrate well in MP.

crawling on ceilings and walls as the aliens is cool but tricky as fuck, like i try to jump a gap and end up on the ceiling, annoying as fuck.
Predator is fun with the multi visions ie heat and the other one, makes the sweet noise aswell.
Humans are shit and boring...guns... wow..

The weapons don't have a "kick" to them. Sound like "pew pew".
Instant kills might be fine for sp... but are clunkily implemented into mp. Congo lines of insta-kills are just stupid.

Deathmatch demo was a mistake. Feels like a beta than a demo.

I was addicted to avp2 back in the early days. MP was a blast. Demo has put me well off the game (which I've been following for a long time). I'll wait for reviews/previews of the full product after release to see if it's worth the cash.

Haven't played it since release night. But is that horrible lobby system fixed?
Firstly - no one could work out how to change class. For a really large button they made to do it with... it sure is hard to find!
Secondly - WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK is with open mic night in the lobby? How did they miss this? You got a room full of peeps and ALL MICS ARE ON BY DEFAULT (and can't be turned off - neither yours or theirs!!!). Considering it's also PC community where everyone has speakers and sound up; You get repeat echos of someone's sentence as it comes out through a speaker and back into the mic and transmitted back to the lobby.
Someone will say, "This game is shit". And it will infinitely echo onwards through everyone else. "This game is shit""This game is shit""This game is shit""This game is shit""This game is shit""This game is shit""This game is shit"

Add that with other people talking and doing random shit in the background and you get an absolute cluster fuck

Well... initial reviews are out. Game is ... not very good. Seems to co-inside with the amount of fail the demo was.
