It's not about changing Atkinson's mind. We KNOW he won't.

It's about putting pressure upon the Government. If we show there is a LARGE backing of the public for it... they are at liberty to do something about it. There is also a election campaign in SA. We can get Atkinson replaced by a party who is pro R+18.

Even if Atkinson still the favorite - if we put a dent in his votes. Get seats our way... we will have made ground. We can get seats in other areas to further influence the Government. We need to mar his reputation and make him look the baddie.

We may be the underdog to win the war. But if we can win some of the battles...

These guys are elected representatives of the public. They are there to do our bidding. We need to show that this is what the people want.

It has been shown that most Australians want an R18 rating. Atkinson has said several times its all about the children. He doesn't care about facts like the average gamers age, or what the public thinks. He is trying to save children and his mind won't be swayed on the matter.

The only way he will get voted out is if the people in his electorate flip 180 degrees. Which I doubt will happen considering he has been elected for many years.

Is it really that hard to sign a petition? You agree with it... but you're taking actions that ironically go towards working against your own goal.
